I’m Claire. Nice to meet you.

I’m a Lead UX, CX and Service Designer and Researcher.

I get my kicks out of designing services that are refreshingly easy to use, while making the most of technological innovation and creative concepts. I also pride myself on making beautiful, engaging documents that stakeholders love to understand, own and share.

I enjoy creating really good websites and apps, but I also have a real passion for working on end-to-end service design; going back to basics from the moment the customer or user thinks of engaging, all the way through their lifecycle with an organisation. I always make sure to build a bit of the latter into the former whenever I can. I love to get inside peoples’ heads – really understand their motivations – and help organisations build digital products and services that are worthy of their time.

I certainly don’t know everything there is to know about design, so I read books, complete courses and absorb as much knowledge from my colleagues as possible. I’m CIPD qualified and try to bring my understanding of training methodology to the work I produce. I’ve studied acting at – and act with – The Questors Theatre in Ealing; which either means that I use Stanislavski’s technique to ‘get inside the mind of the user’, or I’ll invite you to my next play (possibly both). I also do some of pro bono and charity work for causes close to my heart; before the pandemic, I spent some time in Sri Lanka looking after marketing and fundraising for the Heir Foundation (a charity for disadvantaged young women), and I’m currently the marketing manager, concept artist and storyboard designer for my partner’s TV show.

I have designed and researched for Bupa Group, Vodafone Group, blinkbox from Tesco, Transport for London, Land Registry and GOV.UK, Pottermore, Jaguar Land Rover, Zoetis, and various other clients.
